How do I know if my movers are insured? It's actually easy!
Ask your movers for their licensing information.
Movers have to possess active insurance, in order to get and be licensed.
Ask for their PA PUC #, when moving within PA, Or their US DOT #, when moving out of state.
If they have active license numbers, then they must be insured for auto and cargo at the least. Lookup their license numbers at these URLs for confirmation!

As for other important policies, like General Liability, and perhaps more importantly Worker's Compensation, ask for your company's C.O.I.. If they've went far enough to get licensed, they probably wouldn't commit fraud on a C.O.I., however there should be companies listed to call, if you'd like to double check!
